And God took a handful of South wind and from it formed a horse, saying:
"I create thee, Oh Arabian. To thy forelock, I bind Victory in battle.
On thy back, I set a rich spoil And a Treasure in thy loins.
I establish thee as one of the Glories of the Earth...
I give thee flight without wings."

Welcome to Sixbells Arabians

The elegance and beauty of the Arabian horse are as important to us here at Sixbells Farm as their capacity for Endurance. We aim to combine these with our breeding program and in the way that our horses live and train. Please have a look around.

Conformation

Good bone, straight legs, a deep chest and the "inner spring" are key to a good endurance horse.

A good eye

Our horses need the will to go but also a friendly temperament that makes them a pleasure to train and ride.

Life in a herd

We try to allow our horses to live as naturally as possible ranging over our property in a herd. This not only contributes to fitness but gives them valuable socialization and emotional wellbeing.

The barefoot horse

We are not ideologues but allow our horse to remain unshod, using boots to gove protection when they are doing the miles. We believe this allows their hooves to remain healthy and work as naturally as possible.

No agenda time

Spending time with your horses in a paddock without any goal is important in building a bond where you are part of the herd.

Good tail action

What is an Arabian without the tail?
